WE DO NOT REHOME TO ALL DAY WORKERS

Connie - 18 months to 2 years old Crossbreed female. Black. Wormed and de-flead
See her photograph album showing her progress since entering the rescue
Connie came to us as a stray. She was so emaciated and dehydrated she could hardly stand up. It took 48 hours of intensive care to get her fully hydrated again. After a visit to the vets and getting a clean bill of health apart from her obvious malnourishment, it shows that this was down to pure neglect.
Connie has had to have lots of small meals and after only 7 days in our care, she had put on just under half a stone in weight. Connie still needs to be fed regularly throughout the day but is putting on weight and is looking for a forever home
Connie will benefit from someone who has the time to work with her as she needs to learn what love and affection is all about. She is OK with cats and bigger dogs but is not keen on small dogs as they scare her. Connie would love a forever home and is OK with older children. She is just learning what walks are all about and is starting to show interest in things around her and loves running around with the other dogs on the field.
Telephone Donna on 0121 680 0545 for further details.

Nina - 7 year old Doberman female. Speyed, wormed, de-flead, micro-chipped
Nina came to us after being in kennels for months after her owner had a serious stroke and could no longer look after her. Reluctantly her owner relinquished her to the rescue as that was the best option for her. Nina is a mummy's girl and was doted upon by her last owner. She likes lots of love and affection and to be tucked up in bed with her blanket. She loves her walks and is good off a lead, very silly when she is having fun.
She would love a home with another dog but no cats because although she is living with cats at the moment she thinks it is great fun to chase them. She is on Urilin for life (Incontinence medication) Telephone Lin on 0121 475 8729 for further details.

Patsy - Jack Russell Cross. 6 years old. Spayed, micro-chipped and vaccinated.
Loving, very little girl who needs the companionship of another dog for when you go out and to give her confidence. She loves to cuddle and enjoys a walk. Would prefer a home with no small children.

This part of the website has been extended to help those people who have dogs that need re-homing. They are in no way part of The Animal House Rescue, and The Animal House Rescue takes no responsibility for the dog. ALL CONTACT TO BE MADE THROUGH THE OWNER OF THE DOG AND NOT THE ANIMAL HOUSE RESCUE
I rescued a dog about 4 months ago, his name is Dexter and he is a Staff and he is red (tan). He was only about 5 months old when I found him tied to a drainpipe in scorching weather, starved and dehydrated. I have two dogs, Labradors and have had Dexter's shots done and he has been neutered. He is socialised with other dogs and children but now he is too strong for me. I am nearly 70 year old female and not too well and have to go look after my uncle in Hereford who is not well either.
Dexter is a lovely dog, not aggressive but he does nip my other male dog and plays a bit rough with him but my other dog is very laid back. I have trouble holding him on the lead as he wants to run all the time and I cant run. When he is off a lead he likes to run over to other dogs but just wants to play. He needs a lot of love and affection as I don't think he knew what that was before I found him. He sleeps on my bed and always wants to nuzzle and be close to you. I think he would be amazing if he was trained as he can jump and loves to get into small places and search for things, I think he would love agility. I dont want to let him go but I have to be practical about this. He is clean in the house and never does anything unless there is an accident which is very rare. I can't cope with all three dogs but I have given him a good start in life and I know he would would make a very good and loyal pet or I wouldn't say so.
