Lucki is looking for a new forever
home. His last few weeks have been pretty traumatic for him.
Lucki came to us after we were called out to a house where he
and his brother, Luke, were in a flat with their owner who had
died around 72 hours earlier, and they were still lying next to
the body. Luke was paralysed from the waist down but Lucki was
fine.
After getting them home to the rescue
the word got around and we were offered wheels for Luke which
seemed to work fine in the beginning but soon sores broke out
and he couldn’t use his ….. His sores started to get infected as
we were finding it impossible to keep him clean and as he
couldn’t get out and about we had to make the heartbreaking
decision to have him put to sleep so Lucki lost his brother as
well. This boy needs lots of love with an active home as he
loves his walks and to play tug.
He has a brilliant temperament but would
prefer a home with older children as he has been through enough
and doesn’t need the pulling around.
