Abby

Abby was an elderly Cocker Spaniel when she came into the rescue from a local pound where she was due to be put to sleep due to her age.

After a haircut and a dental, we took her with us to a fundraising dog show in Ross-On-Wye here she took part in a rescue dog for homes parade.

Half way around the ring she ducked under the tape and made a bee-line for a couple sitting at a table with their dog, Ruby.  Refusing to move and continue her parade, they kept her with them for the afternoon.  At the end of the show they said they would think about adopting her.  Within the week they had contacted us and following a successful homecheck Abby was rehomed.

She has been there approximately six months now and is very happy sharing her forever home with her new sister Ruby.
