Zak’s Blog
It has been exactly 4 weeks since I moved into my new home in Malvern. Everything is so different here and I love walking on the hills and common with my new pack. I find everything so exciting. I’ve met horses and cattle and farmers with dogs just like me although they seem to be much better behaved than I am! I made the mistake of trying to walk on water but I fell in. That was a bit of a shock! I’ve also experienced my first snow. It’s good to eat and my dog mate Smudge loves rolling in it. I still prefer to roll in fox mess although usually Julie stops me just in time - for her! I usually go to dog training on a Monday but I have to go to an early class by myself because Byron, a Labrador puppy, and I just can’t stop barking at each other. I am still quite worried about cars but Julie is trying to help me to ignore them. They are just so big and noisy though – and so fast. I’m sure that I could chase all of them away. I am very happy. I love chasing around and around the house, chewing dog chews. I love playing up the garden and sometimes I just don’t want to come in when I am told to. In fact I don’t really like coming back at all when I am ‘free’ in the great outdoors. I do love my pack though and I can behave very well when I am indoors. I am so glad that the Animal House Rescue Shelter has found me this lovely new home. Lots of love and I will speak to you again soon. Zak. Xx p.s. I have grown a lot already. |
